Garland delegation tours LuChu Township City Hall (09/30/09)
The delegation from Garland, including Mayor Ronald Jones, his wife Dr. Peggy Jones, members of the Texas Chinese Chamber of Commerce, Councilman Larry Jeffus, and CEO of Garland Chamber of Commerce Paul Mayer, toured LuChu Township offices after the welcome and flag raising ceremony that was held in front of LuChu city hall.
The purpose of the visit was to promote trade and business opportunities between the two cities and the two countries.
The people of Taiwan are to be commended for their generosity towards the Garland delegation during theit visit. At every stop the delegation made they were greeted with applause and with the utmost courtesy.
